This team executes material handling, Clean Street, Tool Center, and other approved logistics and manufacturing support activities that enable safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production. This position reports to the Factory Logistics Manager.\nRole and Responsibilities\nThe Material Handler Team Lead is accountable for operational performance, workforce planning, employee development, safety, quality, and continuous improvement within their assigned area of responsibility.\nMajor responsibilities include:\nLead, coach, and develop a team of Material Handlers supporting factory operations.\n\nDrive safety, quality, and operational excellence within the assigned work area.\n\nEnsure timely execution of material handling, Clean Street, Tool Center, and approved manufacturing support activities.\n\nMonitor operational performance, identify trends, and drive actions to achieve departmental KPIs.\n\nSecure labor capacity and allocate resources to support daily production and business requirements.\n\nProvide coaching, training, and performance management to build team capability and effectiveness.\n\nEnsure employees are trained, qualified, and compliant with applicable procedures and work instructions.\n\nIdentify operational bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and schedule adherence.\n\nCreate, update, and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures to support consistent execution.\n\nPartner with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve operational performance.\n\nCommunicate operational status, risks, priorities, and performance metrics to management.\n\nSupervise the work and daily activities of a team of 6 or more employees.\n\nEscalate operational issues as needed and implement effective countermeasures to minimize business impact.\n\nActively support day-to-day operations as required to meet safety, quality, and schedule commitments.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma, GED; or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; associate degree, vocational training, military experience, or related experience in logistics, warehouse operations, manufacturing, inventory management, cleanroom operations, material handling, or a similar operational environment preferred.\n\n5 or more years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, material handling, supply chain, or similar operations.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\n\nDemonstrated leadership experience through direct supervision, team coordination, training, mentoring, or project leadership.\n\nExperience in a high-tech manufacturing environment preferred.\n\nExperience driving operational performance, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nSAP/MRP experience preferred.\n\nPersonal Skills\nWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve - and working together is the only way to do that. Shifts are 12 hours long. Day shift runs from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and night shift runs from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.\nPrimary assignment is to the day shift; however, this role oversees both day- and night-shift employees and must maintain flexibility to adjust work schedules as needed to support night-shift operations and business requirements.\nRole within Factory Environment\nResponsibilities\nRoutinely required to sit, walk, talk, hear, use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.\n\nOccasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.\n\nMay require travel based on business needs.\n\nSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\n\nMust be able to read, interpret, and communicate operational data, information, and documents.\n\nThe current base annual hourly range for this role is currently:\n$39-53Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data.
