Works autonomously on complex assignments and interfaces with suppliers or customers as part of a broader team.\nJG08\nLeads development of complex parts of modules, owns technically complex solutions, considers industrialization and cross-team impact, and may guide a small group of peers through technical execution.\nJG09\nTakes full technical ownership of multiple complex designs end-to-end, manages system impacts and cross-functional dependencies, and drives solutions through significant technical uncertainty.\nRole and Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will contribute to mechanical engineering deliverables that scale with job grade, from executing defined engineering tasks and supporting senior engineers to owning complex technical scope, coordinating cross-functional work, and leading program-level outcomes.\nIdentify, analyze, document, and manage requirements with traceability, including verification criteria to confirm deliverables meet design intent.\nConduct research, feasibility studies, and technical tradeoff analysis to support engineering recommendations and decision-making.\nDevelop mechanical engineering concepts and solutions that meet functionality, performance, cost, compliance, and schedule requirements.\nDefine and communicate specifications, high-level designs, interfaces, and technical documentation to support reviews, approvals, and downstream execution.\nSupport system and product integration by coordinating dependencies, applying configuration management, and enabling smooth project execution.\nDefine and execute validation and test approaches, improve methods and procedures, and ensure qualification evidence supports release readiness.\nEstimate effort, plan and track work, manage risks and dependencies, and deliver assigned work packages or projects to agreed quality and timelines.\nShare knowledge through coaching, mentoring, and collaboration as applicable to the job grade and scope of responsibility.\nFollow EHS policies and proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate safety risks.\nEducation and Experience\nMinimum education and experience expectations vary by job grade. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is required.
