The Production Logistics organization within the EUV Factory is concerned with the flow of material from supplier into the cleanroom. The Shift Support Production Planning department is responsible for the operational planning, execution and staging of Tools or material for the EF work centers.\nRole and responsibilities\nAs an operational production planner, you'll report to the Operational Production Planning Team lead and work closely with specialists in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse, Material Handling, Material planning, Product Lifecycle Management and Global Logistics Services. You'll represent the Production Logistics department in the lean/progress meetings of all work centers and will work in a two shift operation schedule.\nWe provide executable production plans which meet requested EUV outputs, drive hardware availability during execution accordingly and drive continues improvement.\nAs an Operational Production Planner you:\nAre responsible for the operational planning, management and adjustment of production activities so that the agreed production plan is realized with minimum stock and work-in-progress. Executes production plan in consultation with the responsible production planner.\n\nControl material and Tool availability on the basis of the progress of one or more work centers within the factory.\n\nManage the logistics processes of the factory by initiating picking requisitions to the warehouse, monitoring the progress and processing the administration.\n\nAct as trouble-shooter in the field of logistics in order to avoid disruptions to the production process. Process and solving of disturbances as second line support.\n\nAnalysis and optimization: Ensure delivery performance of the bottleneck work centers such that optimum use of resource and critical situations can be dealt with. Knowledge of different planning parameters (for example safety time, safety stock), so in times of changing environment the planning method can be adjusted.\n\nContribute to the improvement in material control, material planning and parameters by participating in improvement projects.\n\nShow initiative and active input in improvement processes to improve delivery performance (valuable knowledge due to central position in processes by nature of the job).\n\nReporting and communication: Anticipate on problems and communicate these problems with the different departments to resolve them together with these departments.\n\nEducation and experience\nBachelor's degree in logistics or a business related study;\n\n1 - 3 years’ work experience in logistics or planning;\n\nKnowledge of SAP ERP and affinity with technology.\n\nSkills\nTeam player with good social and communication skills who is able to achieve personal and team goals.\n\nTaking initiative in order to ensure production progress;\n\nBeing a proactive person who is able to take ownership for the responsibilities of the department;\n\nAssertive attitude in order to prevent and solve issues on time;\n\nStrong communicator with power of persuasion;\n\nStructural, well organized team player;\n\nMotivated and creative problem solver;\n\nFlexibility: ability to plan and set priorities;\n\nOther information\nThe sector Manufacturing within the EUV Factory (EF) is responsible for the production and installation of NXE & EXE systems in Veldhoven.\n\nThe Shift Planning organization is responsible for the operational planning, management and adjustment of production activities so that the agreed production plan is realized with minimum stock and work-in-progress. Executes production plan in consultation with the responsible production planner.\n\nIn this role you are working in a two shift operation schedule. You work 4 days a week. Week 1 is early shift, week 2 is late shift, week 3 is early shift, etc. Once every four weeks there is a weekend shift. Early shift: 06.30 - 15.30 Late shift: 15:00 - 00.00 Weekend shift (Saturday/Sunday) 07.00 - 16.00\n\nThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
