To achieve this goal the Global Product Safety Tool team facilitates in design requirements enabling designers creating in developing safe & compliant Machinery and Tools.\nRole and responsibilities\nReview designs on machine safety & Tool compliance\n\nSparring partner of designers in the design phase\n\nCreates product compliance certification (CE)\n\n2nd line support for competence organization, consultancy role towards competence leads\n\nClosely follow the evolving machine safety legislation and assess its impact on ASML\n\nNetworking with peers in- and outside ASML (other industries) on safety and implementation issues\n\nCommunicate relevant Safet & Compliance (S&C) information to all levels in the organization\n\nManage the intake of new legislation, Standards and guidelines: use IT tooling to identify upcoming changes, handle incoming information from external organizations (notified bodies),\n\nConsult frequently with corporate legal on impact assessment of changes in the regulatory landscape ensuring alignment with corporate policies\n\nManage the Initiate impact assessments process of changes in new legislation/standards for ASML, prepare the impact analysis for the regulatory board\n\nEducation and experience\nBachelor’s or master's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering or a related field.\nProven experience in safety, preferable in a technical or manufacturing environment\n\nStrong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (E.g., NEN, IEC OSHA, ANSI, ISO)\n\nSkills\nWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve - and working together is the only way to do that.
