By closely collaborating with Material Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouse Operations and Logistics stakeholders, the Production & Material Planner identifies risks, drives mitigation actions and continuously improves material availability processes.\nThe role combines pick part production planning, material planning, data analysis and stakeholder management to ensure material availability, inventory health and operational continuity.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nShortage Management & Operational Planning\nPlan, release, prioritize and monitor production orders for pick parts to support warehouse and manufacturing demand. \nMonitor availability of materials required for pick part production, including critical child materials. \nAnalyze shortages, identify root causes and coordinate mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders. \nProactively identify and resolve material constraints impacting operational performance. \nTrack and follow up actions until successful resolution.\nMaterial Availability & Inventory Control\nSafeguard the availability of pick parts and standard packaging materials required for warehouse and production operations. \nMonitor inventory health, consumption trends and planning parameters (e.g. min-max settings). \nIdentify material availability risks and drive mitigation actions to prevent operational disruptions. \nSupport inventory optimization and continuous improvement of inventory planning settings.\nPerformance Monitoring & Stakeholder Management\nMonitor material availability performance through reporting and dashboards. \nTranslate operational data into actionable insights and recommendations. \nAct as the operational focal point for material availability related topics. \nCollaborate closely with Material Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics to drive issue resolution and operational decision making. \nSupport NPI activities by ensuring a smooth transfer and operational readiness of new pick parts and standard packaging materials. \nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify and implement improvements in material availability, inventory control and planning processes. \nSupport standardization, simplification and process optimization initiatives across Planning & Control. \nContribute to cross-functional improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational performance and supply chain reliability. \nBackground and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent. \n1-3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning or Manufacturing. \nExperience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred). \nExperience with data analysis and reporting tools. \nExperience in a high-tech manufacturing or logistics environment is considered a plus. \nPersonal skills\nStrong analytical mindset with the ability to proactively identify material risks and shortages. \nAble to translate data into concrete actions and improvements. \nHigh level of ownership and accountability. \nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills. \nProactive and persistent in driving actions across multiple stakeholders. \nStructured and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. \nTeam player with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships. \nContinuous improvement mindset with focus on simplification and process optimization. \nResult-oriented and able to drive issues to closure. \nOther information:\nThe Logistics Operations department is responsible for all storage, planning and shipment of ASML material.
