The platform enables software engineers, data engineers, AI engineers, and data scientists to efficiently develop, deploy, and operate software, analytics, and AI solutions.\nThe CS AI Platform combines enterprise services, managed cloud capabilities, commercial and open-source technologies, and purpose-built components. The team integrates these elements into a coherent, secure, reliable, and supportable developer experience.\nWe are looking for a hands-on Senior DevSecOps Engineer who will design, build, integrate, and operate secure platform capabilities. You will translate agreed technical designs into working solutions and take lifecycle ownership of the capabilities you deliver.\n Role and responsibilities\nAs Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you independently design, implement, integrate, automate, secure, and operate assigned capabilities within the CS AI Platform. You translate agreed platform designs and engineering requirements into maintainable technical solutions. You work directly with platform technologies and apply software-engineering, everything-as-code, automation-first, and security-by-design practices.You collaborate with platform consumers and enterprise stakeholders, contribute to technical decisions and standards, and help improve the platform through operational insight and user feedback.\nDesign, build, integrate, and operate secure platform capabilities on Microsoft Azure.\nBuild governed, reproducible, and self-service developer workspaces using technologies such as Coder or comparable platforms; Develop, test, version, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and platform templates.\nBuild and operate CI/CD pipelines for application code, infrastructure, configuration, policy, container images, and deployments.\nIntegrate enterprise services, managed cloud services, commercial products, open-source technologies, and purpose-built components; Implement cloud networking, identity and access management, workload identities, secrets management, and policy controls.\nBuild reusable platform services, automation modules, templates, and golden paths.\nImplement artifact management, container registries, vulnerability controls, and secure software-supply-chain practices.\nImplement monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and operational automation; Troubleshoot complex issues across workspaces, Azure infrastructure, pipelines, Kubernetes, networking, and integrated services.\nOwn assigned platform capabilities throughout their lifecycle, including documentation, support, reliability, and continuous improvement.\nSupport platform consumers during onboarding, development, deployment, and production readiness; Contribute to technical decisions, engineering standards, reviews, and knowledge sharing.\n Education and experience\nBachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.\nStrong hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering; Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud networking, identity, secrets, and policy controls.\nDemonstrable hands-on experience with Terraform for modular, version-controlled Infrastructure as Code; Experience with developer workspace technologies such as Coder, or comparable cloud or remote development workspace platforms.\nExperience with CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, artifact management, and secure software-supply-chain practices.\nStrong scripting or software-engineering skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent; Experience implementing monitoring, observability, alerting, and operational automation.\nAbility to translate platform designs and requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable technical solutions.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex platform and integration issues; Ability to collaborate across engineering, architecture, security, and enterprise service teams.\nExperience building and scaling Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and Dev-as-a-Service capabilities, including self-service platforms, developer portals, service catalogs, platform APIs, GitOps, policy-as-code, and golden paths is preferred\nExperience integrating enterprise, cloud, commercial, and open-source technologies in large-scale environments, including support for AI/ML workflows and the needs of AI engineers and data scientists is preferred\n Skills\nYou are a hands-on engineer who takes ownership of the quality, security, reliability, and supportability of the capabilities you deliver.\nYou are customer focused and turn recurring engineering needs into reusable platform solutions rather than one-off implementations.\nYou solve problems pragmatically within enterprise architecture, security, governance, and sourcing boundaries.\nYou communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs clearly and collaborate effectively across technical disciplines and organizational boundaries.\nYou are curious, committed to continuous learning, and willing to challenge existing approaches constructively.\n Other information\nWhat Success Looks Like\nEngineering teams can rapidly provision secure, consistent, and reproducible development environments.\nPlatform capabilities are self-service, reusable, supportable, and easy to adopt.\nSecurity and operational requirements are built into the platform rather than added afterwards.\nEngineering teams spend less time arranging infrastructure and more time delivering business value.\nThe CS AI Platform Integration team is establishing a central Dev-as-a-Service capability for software, data, and AI-enabled application delivery. The platform combines governed developer workspaces, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud and container runtime capabilities, artifact management, security automation, observability, and operational controls.\nThe team works closely with platform consumers, architects, cybersecurity and privacy specialists, IT Platform Integration teams, and enterprise service owners.
