Project management capability is highly desirable, as this role will support readiness and execution activities for ASML\nSuccess requires excellent teamwork and stakeholder management, as you’ll collaborate with global and local teams across supply chain, logistics, field operations, and external partners.\nKey Responsibilities\nOrder Management\nCoordinate end-to-end order management for SCM-related activities within ASML’s IT systems.\n\nExecute planning and administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness.\n\nParticipate in and drive improvements in order flow processes.\n\nIssue Resolution\nInvestigate and resolve operational discrepancies (e.g., part mismatches, location issues, quantity deviations).\n\nConduct root-cause analyses to eliminate recurring issues.\n\nCommunicate findings and actions clearly to operational teams.\n\nTracking, Reporting & Analytics\nCollect and interpret data across multiple systems to steer operational decisions.\n\nProvide insights that support execution quality and planning readiness.\n\nConduct deep dives on emerging challenges or areas requiring expanded scope.\n\nStakeholder Management\nBuild strong relationships with counterparts across operational, supply chain, and field teams.\n\nInfluence TL/GL-level stakeholders on process improvements or alignment across conflicting priorities.\n\nFoster collaboration and transparency across deployment activities.\n\nOperational Planning Systems & Tooling\nUtilize established planning tools to support operational execution.\n\nIdentify and recommend improvements to planning systems, data structures, and parameters.\n\nEnsure data accuracy by gathering and validating critical planning inputs.\n\nContinuous Improvement & Project Management\nApply structured problem-solving methods (e.g., A3, 5xWhy) to drive process stability.\n\nLead medium-sized improvement projects and contribute to larger, cross-sector initiatives.\n\nSupport readiness activities for system introduction and scaling by leveraging project management capability.\n\nTeam Contribution & Mentoring\nAct as a mentor to junior colleagues.\n\nShare knowledge and contribute to building a high-performance, collaborative team culture.\n\nRequirements\nEducation\nMSc in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent expertise.\n\nExperience\nExperience with operational planning processes, tools, and techniques.\n\nStrong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.\n\nExperience working in environments with high process interdependencies.\n\nProject or program management experience strongly preferred.\n\nLanguage\nBusiness-level English is required.\n\nJapanese language familiarity is preferable to support local stakeholder communication in Chitose and broader Japan operations.\n\nCompetencies\nStrong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate decisions.\n\nHigh collaboration and teamwork capability.\n\nStructured, proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.\n\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision.\n\nComfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-evolving technical environment.\n\nInclusion and diversity\nASML is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
