Responsibilities include defining test strategies, developing and integrating test setups and Devices Under Test (DuTs), implementing data acquisition and control systems, analyzing test data, and ensuring high-quality execution that supports product development, system validation, and long-term reliability goals.\nJob Description\nTechnical Leadership\nLead assigned test requests and determine test strategy, principles, methods, and validation approaches.\nProvide technical leadership on complex multidisciplinary test programs.\nDrive technical decision-making regarding test architecture, instrumentation, controls, and measurement solutions.\nMentor engineers and technicians in testing methodologies, data analysis, and best practices.\nActively contribute to the growth of testing and measurement competencies within ASML.\nTest System Design & Integration\nDesign, develop, and integrate test and measurement systems for mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic applications.\nDefine requirements for test equipment, instrumentation, controls, sensors, and data acquisition systems.\nDesign and develop mechanical fixtures, interfaces, and test stand architectures.\nIntegrate Devices Under Test (DuTs) into complex test environments.\nDesign and troubleshoot test hardware, instrumentation systems, and automation solutions.\nSupport realization, commissioning, and qualification of test equipment.\nData Acquisition & Measurement Systems\nDevelop and implement data acquisition systems and measurement architectures.\nSelect and integrate sensors, controllers, DAQ hardware, and instrumentation.\nDevelop measurement methodologies ensuring data accuracy, repeatability, and traceability.\nSupport test automation, control systems, and data processing workflows.\nDrive improvements in measurement quality and test efficiency through data-driven solutions.\nTest Planning & Execution\nBudget, plan, and coordinate with team member and with project teams.\nDevelop, review, and communicate test plans and test procedures.\nExecute tests according to project schedules and laboratory priorities.\nAnalyze test results and provide engineering recommendations.\nGenerate technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.\nSupport supplier interactions and subcontracted testing activities.\nReliability & Validation Engineering\nApply reliability engineering principles and statistical methods.\nSupport Weibull analysis, failure mode investigations, lifetime testing, HALT/HASS testing, and root cause analysis.\nDevelop validation strategies for new designs, materials, components, and system architectures.\nEnsure test objectives align with engineering risks and business needs.\nStakeholder Management\nCollaborate with project managers, design engineers, architects, system engineers, suppliers, and external partners.\nTranslate stakeholder needs into actionable testing strategies and plans.\nCommunicate technical progress, risks, mitigations, and recommendations effectively.\nAlign testing activities with project objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.\nEducation an experience\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or a related technical discipline.\nBS or BE degree in a relevant technical field required.
