In this role, you will drive concept development, engineering analysis, prototyping, verification, and product release while strengthening engineering capability through technical standards, design reviews, and coaching.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the development of precision module architectures, translating system requirements into robust engineering solutions\n\nDrive advanced mechanical and mechatronic design activities, including 3D modelling, specifications, tolerancing, error budgeting and engineering documentation\n\nConduct and guide engineering analyses such as electromagnetic, structural, thermal, vibration, dynamic and tolerance studies to optimize performance and reliability\n\nDefine and lead proof-of-concept, prototype, verification and reliability testing activities\n\nLead design reviews, technical risk assessments, change management and engineering governance activities\n\nCollaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and suppliers to ensure products are manufacturable, testable and supportable throughout the lifecycle\n\nDevelop reusable engineering methods, simulation tools, standards and best practices to improve development effectiveness across projects\n\nProvide technical leadership, coaching and design guidance to engineers and cross-functional teams\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering or related disciplines\n\nStrong expertise in precision mechanical design and mechatronic system development\n\nProficiency in 3D CAD, engineering drawings, tolerance and error budgeting, structural and dynamic analysis, thermal and vibration analysis, and design for manufacture and assembly\n\nHands-on experience with simulation tools, verification methodologies and motor/module testing\n\nProven track record leading precision mechanical or mechatronic product development from concept through production release and lifecycle support\n\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering work, leading technical reviews and resolving complex technical challenges\n\nMinimum 6 years of R&D experience required.
