Purpose of Role
We are looking for an ICT Teacher to join the International Secondary school and help us take our learners to the next level in their learning. If you want to be part of our team you will need to be experienced and knowledgeable about the teaching of our national language. You must also be passionate about learning and knowledgeable about the factors that affect learning. You will be good at working with and inspiring your colleagues, our students and their parents.

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, Kuala Lumpur campus is a large 3-18 school located on a green 20-acre site with excellent facilities and offers a welcoming, inclusive and stimulating place to work. We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary, and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE and A Level) and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The campus welcomes over 2000 amazing students, aged from 3 to 18 years and from 38 nationalities; with 1350 attending the international school, 600 of whom will be in the primary school. Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in education/ICT is a prerequisite.
- You must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Passion for and commitment to whole school (primary and wider) AI development would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate a deep passion for teaching and learning, along with a familiarity with effective instructional strategies in the classroom.
- Working with Primary age pupils (5-11) role and is a flexible team player.
- Creative, inspiring, patient, resourceful, and energetic.
- Puts children at the heart of everything they do.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Is committed to wider aspects of school life and learning including developing students' life skills to support development and growth.
ISP Key Responsibilities
- Assess students' English language proficiency and identify individual learning needs.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging EAL lessons tailored to students' language abilities.
- Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to adapt teaching strategies and learning materials for EAL learners.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
- Develop Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) where appropriate.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and language development.
- Promote an inclusive learning environment that values cultural and linguistic diversity.
