Job Description

Established in 1960, Tenby Schools Ipoh was the pioneer of the 6 Tenby Schools whichare now part of the International Schools Partnership. We have over 1,000 students typically representing about 30 nationalities situated on a 13-acre campus, offering IPC, IGCSE, A level and SPM programmes as well as 70 co-curricular activities. Purpose of Role

We'reseekinga qualified and experienced School Lab Assistant.The successful candidate will oversee lab operations, enforce safety measures, and support students and staff during experiments, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.

To prepare laboratory equipment, ensure safety compliance, andassistduring experiments,ultimately aimingto cultivate a secure, effective, and educational laboratory atmosphere for students.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a relevantBachelor’s Degree in EducationorBachelor’sdegree with a postgraduate qualification in teaching.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in laboratory-related work.

  • Proficiencyin computer literacy with strong interpersonal communication skills.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

  • An analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail

  • Expertisein laboratory safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials and responding to emergencies.
