This position is focused on providing tenants with timely repairs inside and outside of employee housing units. This position performs carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, snow removal, painting, carpet installation, cleaning and all other routine facility maintenance and construction tasks. This position reports to the Facilities Manager.\nJob Posting Deadline\nApplications for this position will be accepted until October 15, 2026.\nEssential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities\nPreparation and maintenance of employee housing units, including moving furniture \nMaintain common areas of all buildings in a presentable manner, keeping all walkways, lobbies, laundry rooms, etc. clean\nResponsible for lawn and landscape maintenance in the summer and snow and ice removal in the winter, in addition to trash removal year round\nGeneral upkeep of facility equipment and basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of facility equipment and tools\nObserve safety and security procedures, reporting all safety hazards and suspicious persons or activities to management and adhering to all safety standards set by the department and company along with local, city and state laws \nAssist in the event of an emergency and/or security event as directed by management. \nComply with all policies and procedures for the department, and Aspen One. \nComplete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand. \nWill assist with other Facility Management and Aspen One functions as needed. \nOther duties as assigned\n Education & Experience Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred\nMust be 18 years or older\nMust have a valid, current, and unrestricted Driver’s License\n Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nProficient knowledge of fire and safety procedures\nKnowledge of company rules, regulations, and operational standards\nProficient knowledge in building maintenance, construction or similar skilled trade is preferred \nProficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customers\nProficient mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of facility equipment and tools\nProficient with all hand, power and pneumatic tools and the ability to use them safely, and must maintain all tools in a clean and orderly condition while maintaining a clear, uncluttered work area\nProficient maintenance skills\nProficient with carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, snow removal, painting, carpet installation, cleaning\nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively\nAbility to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goals\nAbility to do basic problem-solving\nAbility to identify straightforward issues and propose simple solutions\nAbility to operate and maintain an Aspen One company truck as necessary\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nWork Environment & Physical Demands\nAbility to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time \nRegularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces \nMust be able to regularly lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance\nJob Benefits\nThis position is categorized as a regular full-time position eligible for the following benefits:\nEnrollment dates differ across the various programs.\nThis position is classified as a part time seasonal position eligible for the following benefits:\nEnrollment dates differ across the various programs.\nPaid Time Off Programs\nPaid Leave Programs \nEmployee Ski Pass\nOther company perks \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
