In this role, you will bridge the business and the data platform, leading the conceptual and logical design of industry data models that enable data-intensive applications and analytics across banking products, channels, and risk domains.\nYou will partner closely with business stakeholders, application teams, and data engineers to translate business requirements into robust dimensional models delivered through Data Mesh or Data Warehouse architectures. This is a full-time position, contractor agreement, with 100% dedication to the project, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.\nWhat You Will Do\nDimensional Modeling Leadership: Lead conceptual and logical dimensional modeling for OLAP workloads, defining facts, dimensions, grain, and conformed structures that serve enterprise analytics and reporting.\nProduct Domain Modeling: Design industry data models for core banking products, including checking and savings accounts, loans, debit and credit cards, time deposits, and bonds.\nChannels & Customer Domain Modeling: Model data for digital channels, contactability, branches, customer care, and customer experience, enabling an integrated view of customer interactions.\nRisk Domain Modeling: Define data structures supporting delinquency, recovery, anti-money laundering (AML), and credit risk use cases, in alignment with regulatory and business needs.\nPrescriptive Application Design Support: Provide prescriptive guidance for application design and analytical use cases, translating business requirements into data models that support data-intensive applications.\nArchitecture Alignment & Collaboration: Partner with data engineers, domain teams, and business stakeholders to ensure models are implemented consistently across Data Mesh and Data Warehouse platforms, and validate designs with advanced SQL.\nWhat You Bring\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience\nProven experience as a Senior Data Architect with a functional and business-oriented profile.\nExtensive experience in financial services, modernizing business processes through data-intensive applications.\nHands-on experience with Industry Data Models for data warehousing across banking products, channels, and risk domains.\nExtensive experience with Data Mesh, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence.\nTechnical Expertise\nExpertise in leading conceptual and logical dimensional modeling for OLAP workloads.\nStrong ability to translate business requirements into data models for Data Mesh or Data Warehouse architectures.\nExpert-level SQL skills for data analysis, model validation, and profiling.\nSolid understanding of banking domains, including products, customer channels, AML, credit, delinquency, and recovery.\nNice to Have\nTeradata Financial Services Industry Data Model (FSI-LDM) or Oracle Financial Services (FSI) Industry Data Models.\nBIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) certification.\nExperience with Amazon Redshift, dbt, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and Informatica.\nAdditional Requirements:\n100% dedication to the project.\nHybrid rol.\nBased in Buenos Aires, Argentina.\n\nVisa Sponsorship\nAspenView does not sponsor employment visas for this role.
