This includes recording, verifying, and reporting financial transactions, as well as contributing to financial planning activities. \n\nResponsibilities \nGeneral accounting:\nAssist in preparing and posting general ledger entries, and in reconciling accounts using accounting tools\nSupport the management of working capital cycles, including inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable\nAssist in CAPEX-related activities and proper documentation\nEnsure the accuracy and cleanliness of accounting records, providing support for maintenance of upstream controls\nContribute to the review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures under supervision\nPartner with the internal control’s team for risk identification and mitigation strategies\nStatutory Financial Reporting:\nAssist in the research of technical literature support to ensure compliance with IFRS\nAssist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including group reporting\nSupport the planning and coordination of month-end and year-end activities with wider Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely close\nHelp analyse financial information and contribute to executive summaries, using productivity apps\nAssist in year end group reporting submission and produce relevant disclosure for annual financial statements\n Financial planning and controlling:\nAssist in the annual budgeting process by collaborating with business owners across the organisation\nSupport the measurement of financial performance such as actuals vs budget analysis and help communicate results to Senior Management\nAnticipate risk and opportunities, devise corrective measures and proactively reporting to Senior Management\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nSupport on ad-hoc requests from the Line Manager and Senior Management\nPartner with the internal controls team for draft SOPs and circulating with business streams\nCollaborate with internal and external auditors as required\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, banking or a related field\nPartly qualified ACCA/ ACA/CIMA or equivalent qualifications\nMinimum 3 years broad-based Finance experience including general accounting and reporting operations\nMultinational exposure is an advantage \nAudit experience is preferred \nStrong planning and organisational skills\nEffective time management and multitasking skills to meet tight deadlines\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel\nFamiliarity with Power BI or similar automation/data visualisation tools is an advantage\n\nWhat's in it for You?\n We have established a reputable business in just over a decade and as we continue to grow we remain committed to your personal & professional development.
