This is your opportunity to play an important role in this cutting-edge transformation.We are looking for an Associate Manager to lead the creation and execution of testing approaches for our market-leading Operational Technology (OT) products, with a key objective of designing and developing low maintenance and portable test automation scripts using some of the latest industry technologies. You will lead the creation of robust test strategies to search out product issues while assuring that the product line conforms to established requirements and standards. You will also be responsible for the leading the gathering of functional requirements, information, and data to proactively drive quality best practices while collaborating with R&D and Product Management.\nYour Impact\nSupervise team members providing guidance and feedback with their tasks, performance, and career development.\nProactively engage with cross-functional and international teams in an agile environment to achieve team and department objectives.\nLead the analysis of requirements, creation, and execution of test strategies and test cases, troubleshooting of issues and reporting of defects.\nLead the design, build, execution, and maintenance of test automation including API, UI, and non-functional verification.\nLead the utilization of CI/CD pipelines to build, configure, and patch multiple test environments.\nLead the execution of complex manual functional and non-functional tests.\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.\n3-8 years’ work experience.\nProven technical leadership experience.\nAbility to independently lead technical task planning, execution, and results.\nEstablished scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell scripting).\nEstablished experience with test automation tools and frameworks (examples may include pytest, Playwright, Selenium)\nExperience with a source control system (CVS, Subversion, Git, etc.).\nExperience with Linux and Windows environments.\nSkilled in manual and automated testing best practices.\nInnate desires to automate, monitor and continually improve everything in sight.\nPreferred\nTechnical team management.\nExperience with different database technologies (SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).\nExperience with Configuration Management.\nCapability to maintain Windows/Linux/UNIX Servers.\nExperience in server virtualization, especially VMWare.\nGeneral networking skills (Layer 2 & 3 switches, TCP/IP, SNMP, etc.).\nUtility Industry experience working with or developing control system technology software.\nWork Authorization\nAspenTech will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
