This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional technical initiatives, particularly those involving business applications (CRM, ERP, etc.) and enterprise-wide process transformation. You’ll play a critical role in driving operational excellence and delivering business value across the organization.Your Impact\nProject & Program Leadership:\nManage a portfolio of complex technical and process-oriented projects using Smartsheet.\nDefine project scope, objectives, and success metrics aligned with strategic business goals.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.\nExecution & Risk Management:\nLead cross-functional teams and external vendors through workshops and working sessions (e.g., solution design, requirements gathering).\nOversee deployment of new systems and processes as well as managing and coordinating hyper-care support, training, user adoption and change management.\nEnsure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope, while meeting stakeholder expectations.\nLead problem-solving sessions and stakeholder follow-ups to drive resolution; Implement mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.\nTrack and report key metrics, achievements, and project expenses; Monitor project health and proactively manage risks and issues.\nStakeholder Engagement & Communication:\nLead and facilitate project/program review meetings to communicate status, resolve issues, and celebrate milestones.\nProvide clear, timely updates to stakeholders and executive sponsors.\nMaintain detailed documentation including agendas, meeting notes/action items, project plans/issue trackers and after-action reviews.\nFoster collaboration across technical and business teams, building trust and alignment.\nOperational Excellence:\nChampion continuous improvement within the BTO through active participation and feedback with the wider team.\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related technical field from an accredited university.\n8+ years of experience as a Project/Program Manager or Business Functional Leader. Experience with waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies is required.\nProven success in leading enterprise applications (CRM, ERP, etc.) and transformation projects.\nPMP and/or PMI-ACP certification (or equivalent) strongly desired.\nProficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.\nExcellent communication and facilitation abilities across all levels of the organization.\nExecutive presence with confidence in presenting to senior leadership.\nSelf-starter with a solution-oriented mindset and a passion for operational excellence.\nComfortable working independently and within a matrixed team environment.\nWork Authorization\nAspenTech will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1(including those with OPT or CPT) , H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.\nThe salary range for this role is $127,000.00 - $158,700.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
