Our software solutions help our customers to address the Dual Challenge of meeting the growing demand for resources and higher standards of living from a growing population while also addressing sustainability goals, reductions in emissions and reductions in plastic waste in the environment.\nYour Impact\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code\n\nSupport existing and development of a new geophysical oriented software systems. Both desktop and web based\n\nMaintain code quality and improve usability of existing application\n\nAnalyze and identify problematic code (such as performance, stability and algorithmic) and advise solutions to these problems\n\nUnderstand the customers workflows and suggest pragmatic solutions\n\nDebug the existing software and fix reported problems\n\nActive involvement in Agile development process\n\nWhat You'll Need\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science/math/physics, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.\n\nExperiencedin C++ development (C++17 an advantage)\n\nExperience with modern web/cloud technologies/stack (advantage)\n\nGood OOP knowledge / design patterns\n\nGood levelof English, reading, writing and verbal\n\nExperience on Windows and Linux\n\nExperience in multi-threading\n\nGeoscience or Mathematical education (advantage)\n\nAbility to work both independently and as a part of a team\n\nHighly responsible and reliable\n\nSelf-learner\n\nGood communicationskills\n\nExperience working with geographically distributed teams is a plus\n\nAspen Tech offers a long-term career path with significant opportunities for growth and development in a cutting-edgeengineering technology company.
