Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, you will lead a team of product managers and collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Services, R&D and Solution Consulting to ensure the continued success of AspenTech's Process Simulation portfolio.\nYour Impact\nProduct Vision, Strategy, and Sharp Execution\nDefine and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the product, backed by financial assessment such as a business case\nResponsible for Agile roadmap for the product lifecycle (ideation and formation through execution), specifying the positioning, pricing, differentiation, competitive strategy, and definable value and proof points\nAligns the product vision and strategy to overall Performance Engineering and AspenTech objectives\nMonitor industry trends, competitive developments, and customer requirements.\nCustomer Engagement and Customer Centricity\nBuild strong relationships with key customers, industry leaders, and strategic partners.\nServe as a thought leader and advocate for AspenTech process simulation solutions internally and externally\nChampion customer-centric product development, balancing market needs, innovation and business objectives.\nPortfolio Ownership and Growth Focus\nDrive business growth through increased customer adoption, expansion into new markets, and successful introduction of new capabilities.\nDrive innovation initiatives that strengthen competitive differentiation and market leadership, with close collaboration with R&D and other teams such as AI, UX and other product portfolios\nSupport evaluation of potential technology acquisitions and strategic partnerships that can accelerate market growth and product differentiation.\nPartner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Services, Solution Consulting to drive growth\nFacilitate cross-functional collaboration and successful outcomes.\nPeople Leadership\nLead and develop a high-performing Product Management team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and customer focus.\nResponsible for hiring, coaching, retaining talent as well as actively managing performance\nLead from the front and create a best-in-class Product team\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline. MBA a plus.\n5+ years of experience in the petroleum, energy, or process industries.\nStrong understanding of process simulation technologies and workflows.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functions and organizational levels.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProduct Management experience within industrial software, engineering software or process industries.\nExperience leading or mentoring Product Management teams.\nKnowledge of Agile product development methodologies.\nExperience working with process simulation solutions such as Aspen HYSYS or similar technologies.\nExperience developing product strategies, business cases, and growth plans for enterprise software products.\nKey Competencies:\nExecution Focus: Knows how to get things done but also has the grit and resilience to drive execution. They will have a natural inclination toward leading through collaboration and seek input and buy-in from key players across the company and their team. They will also demonstrate the personal flexibility to adapt to proven corporate philosophies and practices, as well as contribute new, innovative thinking.\nThe salary range for this role is $196,800.00 - $246,000.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
