Our Digital Grid Management software suite helps power and utilities companies achieve superior real-time control, optimization, and management for exceptional performance of complex energy networks.As a Manager, Project Management, you will lead a team of Project Managers responsible for the successful execution of customer projects across the Digital Grid Management portfolio. This role combines people leadership, project governance, operational excellence, and customer engagement to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.\nYou will provide leadership and direction to project teams, establish project management best practices, drive execution consistency, and support the professional development of project managers. As a key member of the delivery organization, you will collaborate closely with Services, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Customer Success teams to achieve business objectives and deliver value to our customers.\nYour Impact\nMonitor project execution, proactively identifying risks, resolving escalations, and ensuring alignment with customer and business expectations.\nOversee a portfolio of customer projects, ensuring successful execution, financial control, and customer satisfaction.\nEnsure project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations are developed, maintained, and effectively managed.\nOversee contract and scope change management processes to ensure commercial and operational success.\nDrive project financial performance, including revenue forecasting, margin management, cost controls, and resource utilization.\nCollaborate with customers and executive stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure successful project outcomes.\nPartner with leadership to define project delivery strategies, resource planning, and operational priorities.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to improve delivery efficiency, quality, and customer experience.\nLead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.\nSupport talent development through performance management, succession planning, hiring, and career growth initiatives.\nPromote continuous improvement initiatives and support organizational growth and scalability.\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\n10+ years of project management, program management, or professional services experience.\n3+ years of people leadership experience managing project managers, technical teams, or customer-facing delivery organizations.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex, highly technical customer projects and project portfolios.\nStrong understanding of project management methodologies, including scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.\nExperience with Microsoft Project and project planning methodologies such as PERT and CPM.\nExcellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.\nAbility to travel up to 10%.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing project delivery teams within software, utility, energy, industrial technology, or automation industries.\nElectrical utility industry experience, including ADMS, EMS, DMS, OMS, SCADA, or grid modernization projects.\nInternational project management experience and understanding of global business practices and cultural considerations.\nEngineering degree, preferably Electrical, Computer, Systems, or related discipline.\nPMP certification or equivalent project management credential.\nExperience leading organizational transformation, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.\nWork Authorization\nAspenTech will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
