The position includes managing relationships with local service providers and applying local and US GAAP accounting principles to prepare accurate and timely statutory reporting and related local compliances for our European entities.Your Impact\nEnsure compliance with all country specific statutory accounting, tax, and regulatory filings.\nEnsure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards.\nManage local annual audit and financial statement reporting process and prepare necessary schedules, reconciliations, and analyses.\nSupport Local Service Provider relationships, supplying and reconciling all necessary reports and analyses, closely communicating, and coordinating with provider.\nPrepare information and analyses to support annual corporate income tax return.\nPrepare all value added tax filings. For some locations, this will be assisted by the external provider.\nCompile and analyze financial information and prepare fluctuation analyses.\nMonthly reconciliations of local to US GAAP results.\nEnsure compliance with all local regulations and internal audit controls.\nSuggest and contribute to process improvements.\nCreate various analyses, forecasts and lead ad hoc projects.\nInterpret local GAAP accounting concepts and implement solutions.\nOperate under minimal supervision with latitude for independent action.\nManage deliverables and prioritize tasks.\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.\n8+ years of relevant GL accounting or financial reporting experience.\nHighly motivated and able to handle multiple priorities.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nProactive and manages workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nA team player with a flexible and collaborative approach.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to convey information in a clear and concise manner with all levels of the organization.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills.\nStrong Excel skills required.\nExperience in a large global company preferred.\nOracle or related ERP experience preferred.\nExperience in a large public company preferred\nFluent English language skills required.
