AspenTech’s DGM solutions form the backbone of decision making & real-time operations of the largest global utilities in USA, Europe, India, Australia and others.You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects using the monarch platform, including planning / design / integration / testing /training/ and commissioning at site. A good understanding of utility use-cases (Electricity / Gas / Water / Renewables) is preferred.\nYour Impact\nDesign, plan, integrate, test, and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.\nPerform installation, integration, and testing of the hardware, software and system.\nOwn troubleshooting efforts for discovered variances and deploy resolutions in a timely manner.\nDefine project requirements through customer communication and communicate the requirements to other departments, as necessary.\nWork as the primary systems engineer responsible for deploying complex and dynamic control systems.\nProvide networking and system/application design.\nPerform hardware, software, and system installation, integration, and testing (such as FAT / SAT) for projects.\nCustomize system, hardware, and network configuration based on customer requirements.\nProvide customer support and assistance per contract maintenance and warranty.\nAssist in creating training materials and project documentation as needed.\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field\n2+ years of experience\nBasic knowledge of computer programming and scripting (Python, C / C++)\nBasic knowledge of computer architectures, networking, databases, and operating systems\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with CAD, Visio or similar software\nExperience in Database structures (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Mongo, Cassandra)\nExperience with JSON, XML\nExperience with common utility protocols (ICCP, DNP, IEC, MultiSpeak)\nSoft Skills Required\nExcellent organization, interpersonal and leadership skills\nStrong commitment to providing superior customer service\nAbility to work on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility and flexibility to travel to customer
