In this role, you will support the sales and marketing teams by showcasingour software products to potential clients. You will play a crucial role in effectively communicating the value and functionality of our software solutions to prospects, helping them understand how our products can meet their specific business needs.\nRole Details:\nConduct software demonstrations: Perform compelling and engaging demonstrations of our software products to potential clients, showcasingkey features and benefits. Tailor demonstrations to address the specific needs and pain points of each prospect as needed.\n\nMaintain a software demonstration system: Work with team members to maintainand enhance the demonstration system. This includes upgrading the software as new versions are released and building demonstration scenarios to showcasethe latest features.\n\nMaintain product knowledge: Develop and maintaina deep understanding of our software products, staying up to date with the latest features, updates, and industry trends. Effectively communicate the value proposition and competitive advantages of our products to potential clients.\n\nProvide Sales support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and align software demonstrations accordingly. Provide technical expertiseand guidance to the sales team during client interactions, addressing any technical questions or concerns that arise.\n\nCollaborate with internal teams: Work closely with product management, development, and technical subject matter experts to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to our software solutions. Gather feedback from potential clients and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software products. Continually strengthen your technical and industry knowledge to enhance demonstration skills and collateral.\n\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Scienceor related technical field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.\n\nExperience insolution consulting and/or technical sales support, software sales, and/or industry experience.\n\nAbility to travel to domestic or international locations (up to 50%).\n\nExcellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences required.\n\nStrong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and understand complex software applications.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProven experience in electric utility control systems (SCADA, EMS, GMS, DMS, OMS, DERMS systems) or experience working in utility operations or engineering support.\n\nProven experience in software demonstration or sales engineering.\n\nPrior experience in using OSI monarch software.\n\nAbility to speak additionallanguages, such as but not limited to: Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, etc.\n\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices for critical infrastructure systems, specifically pertaining toelectric utility control systems and NERC CIP standards.\n\nSolid understanding of electric utility systems, grid control technologies, and protocols, such as DNP3, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104, ICCP and CIM.\n\nExperience with database systems and data modeling.\n\nBasic understanding in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or batch scripts.\n\nCandidates with similar skills or experiences may be considered and training may be offered where needed.
