In this role, you will contribute to industrial software used to support complex planning, scheduling, optimization, production, and supply chain workflows. Working as a member of a cross-functional Agile team, you will implement well-defined features, resolve defects, build automated tests, and develop your engineering skills with guidance from experienced team members.Your Impact\nDevelop, test, debug, and maintain software features under the guidance of experienced engineers.\nTranslate user stories and acceptance criteria into clear, maintainable implementations.\nCollaborate with Product Owners, Agile Team Leads, developers, Quality Engineering, and Architecture to deliver working software.\nParticipate in backlog refinement, iteration planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives, and system demos.\nWrite unit tests, support automated testing, and help investigate and resolve defects.\nParticipate in code reviews, apply team standards, and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.\nDocument technical decisions and contribute to shared team knowledge.\nBuild familiarity with MSC customer workflows and the product areas supported by the Agile team.\nWhat You'll Need\nWhat You'll Need:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nAround 2 to 3 years of general software development experience\nFoundational knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.\nAcademic, internship, personal-project, or professional experience developing software in C#, .NET, C++, Java, or a comparable language.\nBasic understanding of source control, debugging, APIs, databases, and the software development lifecycle.\nAbility to interpret technical requirements, ask clarifying questions, and work effectively with guidance.\nStrong learning mindset, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.\nAbility to communicate and collaborate in English in a global engineering environment.\nPreferred Qualifications/Requirements:\nExperience with C#/.NET, REST APIs, SQL, or modern front-end technologies such as React or Angular.\nExposure to automated testing, unit-test frameworks, continuous integration, or cloud technologies.\nFamiliarity with Agile or SAFe ways of working.\nInterest in industrial software, manufacturing, supply chain, planning and scheduling, mathematical modeling, or
