This will be achieved through closely working with the World Area procurement and Operations Teams to identify opportunities and implement strategies around service provider selection, sourcing, and negotiation while collaborating with and supporting AspenTech and other internal customersYour Impact\nConduct spend data analysis regularly to monitor changes in spending patterns\nSupports the segmentation and definition of critical services\nDevelop and implement strategies to achieve Supply Chain goals regarding cost, risk management, and quality of services\nAnalyzes data and market insights to understand market trends in key services\nSystematically monitors shortages in specific roles or disciplines to manage the associated risks\nForecasts services demand through early collaboration with proposals and project teams\nBenchmark rates for key roles using reputable national or global data sources to support the rate negotiations with suppliers\nCoordinate the new supplier’s prequalification process and approval\nNegotiate supply agreements with service providers to secure favorable terms and conditions and to meet Emerson's and the customer’s requirements\nSupports the definition and identification of the “preferred” service suppliers\nPartner with project teams to develop and foster long-term relationships with the preferred service suppliers\nCoordinate and lead Supplier Business Reviews (SBR) periodically\nSupports the development of savings calculation methodologies specific to services\nReport and analyze savings achieved periodically\nCollaborate with other Category Managers to identify sourcing best practices\nMonitor the level of success of the pre-established strategies and adjust the course of action as required, promoting continuous improvement\nEnsure compliance with Company policies and procedures\nActs as the Category expert, ensuring proper communication and implementation of agreements, changes, and updates.\nOwn CRA compliance and due diligence actions for assigned suppliers\nWhat You'll Need\nTechnical or Business bachelor’s degree.
