The ideal candidate is a servant leader and advocate for SAFe who coaches teams, facilitates effective execution, removes impediments, and drives continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.\nThe Scrum Master will partner with Product Owners, Product Management, Architects, Engineers, and Quality teams to foster predictable delivery, built-in quality, technical excellence, and high-performing Agile teams.\nYour Impact\nServe as the SAFe Scrum Master and servant leader for one or more Agile teams\nFacilitate Iteration Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt events\nPromote and advocate SAFe, Agile, Lean, and continuous improvement\nGuide teams in applying SDLC practices across planning, development, testing, integration, validation, and release readiness\nIdentify, track, and remove impediments while escalating organizational blockers when necessary\nSupport Product Owners and teams in maintaining healthy backlogs, clear priorities, and predictable execution\nFoster a culture of built-in quality, engineering excellence, DevOps adoption, and CI/CD practices\nCoordinate cross-team dependencies and facilitate collaboration across Agile teams within the ART\nUse Agile metrics, flow metrics, team health indicators, and delivery KPIs to improve transparency and outcomes\nCoach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices and effective SAFe execution\nWhat You'll Need\n6+ years of total experience, including:\n3+ years in software development, technical lead, or engineering roles\n3+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Team Lead, or SAFe Scrum Master\nStrong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, testing, integration, and release management\nPractical experience implementing SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery methodologies\nExperience facilitating Agile ceremonies and leading distributed, cross-functional teams\nHands-on experience with Agile lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or equivalent\nStrong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Agile quality practices, and delivery flow management\nExcellent communication, facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution\nAbility to influence teams, encourage accountability, and build alignment without direct authority\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline\nNice to Have:\nSAFe certifications such as Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), or RTE\nPrior experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain software solutions\nExperience supporting multiple Agile teams within a large-scale ART environment\nSoftware development experience\nKey Emphasis: Servant Leadership & SAFe Execution\nThis role requires a strong servant-leadership mindset and a passion for fostering high-performing Agile teams. Success depends on coaching teams in SAFe principles, enabling continuous improvement, removing impediments, facilitating effective collaboration, and ensuring predictable delivery of customer value.
