Applicants will be reviewed for this position as well as similar roles with varying skill requirements and/or years of experience.Your Impact\nAs a Senior Power Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include:\nDesign, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.\n\nDesign, integrate, test, and commission advanced control systems for electric utilities.\n\nEvaluate contract specifications and define project requirements.\n\nCommunicate detailed requirements to internal departments as needed.\n\nWork directly with customers and remote engineering team members to understand requirements and communicate project plans.\n\nPerform customer training and consult on power system modellingto ensure the effective use and maintenance of a customer’s power system applications.\n\nAssistin creating project and product documentation as needed.\n\nPerform unit testing and tuning to ensure power system applications will meet customer and industry requirements.\n\nSupport live customer systems using knowledge of power systems and application functionality with clear, logical thought processes.\n\nAssistin creating training materials and project documentation as needed.\n\nStay up to datewith the latest industry standards and trends.\n\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelors or Master’sdegree in Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation and Computer Science, Telecommunication, or equivalent years of relevant experience.\n\nExperiencedproject implementation or operational experience, preferably in the utility industry.\n\nAbility to travel to domestic and international customer sites.Flexibility may be discussed through the interview process.\n\nExperience with electrical utility control systems (SCADA, EMS, GMS, DMS, OMS, DERMS) or experience working in utility operations or engineering support or as a business analyst.\n\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to multi-task on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.\n\nBusiness Analysis and Change Management concepts and implementation.\n\nStrong commitment to providing superior customer
