It delivers customer value through improved engineering productivity, reduced project risk, and lower CAPEX/OPEX via accurate, integrated equipment design and analysis.\nYour Impact\nWe are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of our Aspen Exchanger Design and Rating (EDR). In this role, you will define the roadmap for industry-leading equipment design software used by process engineers and equipment manufacturers globally. You will work at the intersection of complex thermodynamic modeling and modern software development, ensuring our heat exchanger and equipment design solutions integrate seamlessly with broader process simulation workflows (such as Aspen Plus and Aspen HYSYS) while delivering exceptional user experience.\nProduct Vision, Strategy, and Sharp Execution\nDefine and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the product, backed by financial assessment such as a business case\nResponsible for Agile roadmap for the product lifecycle (ideation and formation through execution), specifying the positioning, pricing, differentiation, competitive strategy, and definable value and proof points\nAligns the product vision and strategy to overall Performance Engineering and AspenTech objectives\nMonitor industry trends, competitive developments, and customer requirements.\nCustomer Engagement and Customer Centricity\nBuild strong relationships with key customers, industry leaders, and strategic partners.\nServe as a thought leader and advocate for AspenTech process simulation solutions internally and externally\nChampion customer-centric product development, balancing market needs, innovation and business objectives.\nPortfolio Ownership and Growth Focus\nDrive business growth through increased customer adoption, expansion into new markets, and successful introduction of new capabilities.\nDrive innovation initiatives that strengthen competitive differentiation and market leadership, with close collaboration with R&D and other teams such as AI, UX and other product portfolios\nSupport evaluation of potential technology acquisitions and strategic partnerships that can accelerate market growth and product differentiation.\nPartner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Services, Solution Consulting to drive growth\nPartner with thermal, chemical, and mechanical engineering domain experts to translate complex heat transfer and fluid flow calculation requirements into actionable software features\nFacilitate cross-functional collaboration and successful outcomes.\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. MBA a plus.\n10+ years of experience in enterprise software Product Management, ideally within engineering, simulation, or industrial software domains.\nStrong foundational understanding of process engineering, heat transfer, thermodynamics, or equipment design.\nExperience developing product strategies, business cases, and growth plans for enterprise software products\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functions and organizational levels.\nProduct Management experience within industrial software, engineering software or process industries.\nKnowledge of Agile product development methodologies.\nPrior hands-on experience using Aspen EDR, HTRI, and/or other process simulation and heat exchanger rating tools.\nExecution Focus: Knows how to get things done but also has the grit and resilience to drive execution. Pays close attention to detail, and monitors progress well\nOutcome Orientation: This individual will be energized by a challenge and will strive to achieve significant outcomes.
