You will manage multiple projects from initiation through completion, coordinating cross-functional teams and serving as a primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.\nAs a Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for project execution, financial tracking, schedule management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and successful project delivery. This role requires strong project management expertise, customer relationship skills, and the ability to effectively manage project teams in a dynamic environment.\nYour Impact\nLead the planning and execution of complex technical customer projects with significant operational and business impact.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource requirements to ensure successful delivery.\nMonitor project financial performance, including revenue forecasting, cost management, and change order tracking.\nCoordinate project resources and proactively identify and address delivery risks and resource constraints.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks while driving timely resolution of issues.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders, project sponsors, and internal teams.\nProvide regular project status updates and communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.\nEnsure projects are delivered according to approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations.\nFacilitate project governance activities, including status reviews, risk reviews, and project milestone approvals.\nManage project change requests and ensure appropriate alignment between customer requirements and project delivery.\nSupport project estimating, project reviews, delivery planning, and implementation strategy discussions.\nMentor junior project managers and share project management best practices across the organization.\nContribute to continuous improvement of project management processes, methodologies, and delivery standards.\nEnsure projects are properly tested, documented, approved, and transitioned to customers and support organizations.\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.\n5+ years of project management experience leading customer-facing projects.\nDemonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and business objectives.\nExperience managing project budgets, forecasting, schedules, risk management, and change control processes.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and influence project outcomes.\nExperience coordinating technical project activities and managing competing priorities.\nStrong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to travel up to 10%.\nProficiency with project management tools and methodologies, including Microsoft Project and PERT/CPM.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP certification.\nExperience in electrical utility, SCADA, automation, or energy industries.\nExperience managing customer-facing software, technology, or implementation projects.\nExperience supporting project estimates, proposals, and delivery planning activities.\nAbility to work effectively across geographically dispersed teams.\nTrack record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.\nWork Authorization\nAspenTech will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
