Leveraging APIs, event-driven architectures, AWS services, and real-time authorization capabilities, you will serve as a technical resource for application development, integration, troubleshooting, and client implementations, helping deliver reliable software solutions for partners across LATAM.\nThis is a full-time, individual-contributor role. The position is fully onsite in Coral Springs, Florida, Monday through Friday.\nWhat You Will Do\nSoftware Development & Delivery\nDesign, develop, test, and implement software applications supporting a cloud-native card issuing and payment processing platform.\nParticipate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices.\nIntegration & APIs\nDevelop and support REST and event-driven integrations - RabbitMQ, webhooks - applying retry and idempotency design patterns for reliable delivery.\nDevelop and support integrations utilizing APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.\nBuild and maintain API test automation using RestAssured, Karate, and Postman/Newman.\nCloud & Platform Reliability\nSupport cloud-native applications deployed within AWS environments.\nWork closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure platform stability, performance, and reliability.\nSupport & Troubleshooting\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex application, connectivity, and production support issues.\nMonitor system performance and assist with root cause analysis for application and network-related issues.\nWhat You Bring\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military experience.\nExperience\n6+ years of experience in software development, software engineering, or related technology disciplines.\n3+ years of hands-on experience with Java, C#, C++, C, or similar object-oriented programming languages.\n2+ years of experience developing or supporting applications within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.\nExperience troubleshooting application performance, connectivity, and integration issues in enterprise environments.\nTechnical Expertise\nHands-on experience with REST and event-driven integrations - RabbitMQ, webhooks - and retry/idempotency design patterns.\nExperience working with APIs, microservices, and distributed application architectures.\nKnowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN connectivity, firewalls, load balancing, and SSL/TLS.\nLanguages\nBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or Portuguese.\nCertifications\nNo certifications are required for this role. Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) or software engineering are considered an asset.\nSoft Skills\nStrong technical problem-solving, analytical, and relationship-management skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nNice to Have\nExperience within financial services, payments, banking, or fintech environments.\nExperience with cloud-native architectures, event-driven systems, APIs, and real-time transaction processing platforms.\nAbility to write technical specifications a development team can build from.\nExperience deploying and supporting containerized applications on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift, including networking, scaling, and troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with networking technologies including firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and hybrid cloud connectivity.\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools.\nVisa Sponsorship\nAspenView does not sponsor employment visas for this role.
