Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) is seeking a passionate and results-driven HVAC Engineer to be part of our exciting journey.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompany Vehicle: Subsidised home to work commuting\n\nAnnual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell holiday\n\nPension Plan: Contributory Company Pension Plan matched up to 6%\n\nInsurance: Individual life assurance and personal accident cover\n\nEmployee Benefits Portal: Access to private medical, private dental, discounted gym membership, and discounted shopping at over 100 brands and outlets\n\nReward and Recognition: Celebrate outstanding achievements\n\nEmployee Assistance Program: Funded program with onsite mental health first aiders\n\nYour Role:\nResponsible for carrying out skilled maintenance and repair works by managing and maintaining our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services and systems.\n\nCarry out all mechanical and electrical repairs to plant in accordance with schedules.\n\nEnsure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety requirements.\n\nResponsible for completing proactive inspections and any required remedial repairs encompassing either plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation installations.\n\nEnsuring the recording of all maintenance works when completed are posted through the appropriate, equipment, systems and documentation as required by the Company Management System.\n\nAttend and resolve any reactive or planned taskings as directed by line management.\n\nReporting of all Health and Safety defects, near misses, dangerous occurrences and spillages to the ASPIRE Helpdesk.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nQualifications: HVAC qualification, F-Gas Certification City & Guilds (2079) Cat 1, Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent, electrical qualifications (18th Edition, Test & Inspect etc)\n\nExperience: Skilled HVAC engineer with experience in instillation, maintenance, and fault finding across heating, AC, and refrigeration systems. Proficient with building controls and safety standards, with a proactive, team-focused approach.\n\nSkills: A competent, self-motivated professional who manages workloads efficiently, interprets job spec, and ensures quality completion. Adheres to safe systems of work and understands the needs and implications of RAMs. A proactive, customer-focused, flexible team player with strong communication skills and professionalism.\n\nDriving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.\n\nAdditional Information:\nOur garrisons are tobacco-free working environments.\n\nSecurity clearance is required prior to starting with us.\n\nWe are an equal opportunities employer and do not discriminate against protected characteristics.
