Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) is seeking a passionate and results-driven Quantity Surveyor to be part of our exciting journey.\nWhat We Offer\nAnnual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell holiday\n\nPension Plan: Contributory Company Pension Plan matched up to 6%\n\nInsurance: Individual life assurance and personal accident cover\n\nEmployee Benefits Portal: Access to private medical, private dental, discounted gym membership, and discounted shopping at over 100 brands and outlets\n\nReward and Recognition: Celebrate outstanding achievements\n\nEmployee Assistance Program: Funded program with onsite mental health first aiders\n\nYour Role\nLead the commercial delivery of a range of CPT projects from pre-construction through to agreement of final accounts.\n\nUndertake site visits and surveys to support preparation of schedules, specifications and scopes of work.\n\nWork closely with procurement teams during tender processes, assisting with tender evaluations and recommendations.\n\nProduce cost plans, estimates and formal client submissions while maintaining robust cost and revenue forecasts.\n\nAssess project progress, validate supply chain invoices and payment applications, and review quotations and variations to ensure value for money.\n\nManage project variations, instructions, contingency budgets, risk budgets, supply chain orders and payments.\n\nProvide commercial information to finance and central commercial teams and ensure compliance with company procedures and systems, including IFS.\n\nSupport and promote QHSE policies and safe working practices during all activities and site visits.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nQualifications: NVQ Level 3 or above in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, together with a full UK driving licence. Professional membership or progress towards a qualification such as RICS is advantageous.\nExperience: Experience within the construction and/or facilities management sector in a commercial or related role, supported by a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and commercial or financial administration systems. Awareness of site health and safety is essential.\nSkills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships, prioritise workloads and work collaboratively within a team.
