This role requires someone who can independently participate in customer discussions, understand business requirements, analyze data, and clearly communicate insights and recommendations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.\n\n- Work closely with US customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.\n\n- Participate directly in customer-facing calls and communicate findings, insights, and recommendations.\n\n- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools.\n\n- Write complex and optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.\n\n- Work with data from multiple sources, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.\n\n- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.\n\n- Translate business requirements into meaningful metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and analytical reports.\n\n- Identify data quality issues and work with Data Engineering and Product teams to resolve them.\n\n- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Engineering, and Customer-facing teams.\n\n- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports based on customer and business requirements.\n\n- Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\n- Document business logic, KPIs, data definitions, and analytical processes.\n\n- Contribute to improving reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making processes.\n\n- Leverage AI-assisted analytical tools responsibly while validating outputs and ensuring data accuracy and security.\n\nMust-Have Skills & Experience:\n\n- 4 - 5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst / Business Data Analyst / BI Analyst.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with SQL.\n\n- Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.\n\n- Experience with Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Reporting, and Dashboard Development.\n\n- Experience working with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.\n\n- Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics, business reporting, and analytical methodologies.\n\n- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.\n\n- Good understanding of ETL/ELT and data pipelines.\n\n- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.\n\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.\n\nCustomer-Facing Experience - Mandatory:\n\n- Prior experience working directly with US customers/stakeholders is mandatory.\n\n- Must be comfortable participating in and leading customer-facing discussions and calls.\n\n- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.\n\n- Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into clear analytical requirements.\n\n- Ability to explain data, reports, dashboards, and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\n- Comfortable handling customer questions, follow-ups, and requirement clarification independently.\n\n- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.\n\nGood to Have:\n\n- Experience in FinTech, Mortgage, Banking, or Financial Services.\n\n- Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.\n\n- Exposure to Python/Pandas for data analysis.\n\n- Knowledge of AWS data services.\n\n- Understanding of Apache Spark or modern data platforms.\n\n- Experience with data lakes and modern data architecture.\n\n- Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and data quality frameworks.\n\n- Experience working with US mortgage/lending data is an added advantage.\n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\nWe are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst who combines strong SQL and analytical skills with excellent customer-facing communication.
