Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) is seeking a passionate and results-driven Surveyor (Mechanical and Electrical) to be part of our exciting journey.\nWhat We Offer:\nAnnual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell holiday\n\nPension Plan: Contributory Company Pension Plan matched up to 6%\n\nInsurance: Individual life assurance and personal accident cover\n\nEmployee Benefits Portal: Access to private medical, private dental, discounted gym membership, and discounted shopping at over 100 brands and outlets\n\nReward and Recognition: Celebrate outstanding achievements\n\nEmployee Assistance Program: Funded program with onsite mental health first aiders\n\nYour Role:\nYou will be evaluating the condition of mechanical and electrical installations across the Garrison to support long term lifecycle planning and risk identification.\n\nYou will be inspecting assets and preparing survey and condition reports, identifying improvement, rectification and lifecycle works required.\n\nYou will be carrying out planned and ad hoc surveys across the estate, including room environmental condition surveys and room data sheet verification.\n\nYou will be undertaking asset verification activities to maintain accurate asset data and records. You will be analysing information from customer feedback, planned maintenance reports, help desk calls, building management systems, energy reports, specialist surveys and drone footage to assess condition and performance.\n\nYou will be working collaboratively to deliver a safe, efficient and effective service while complying with quality, health, safety and environmental requirements.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nQualifications: You will hold a minimum Level 4 qualification such as a Higher National Certificate in a relevant subject, hold technician membership or higher of a relevant professional body, possess a full United Kingdom driving licence with access to a vehicle, and be able to obtain United Kingdom baseline security clearance.\n\nExperience: You will have experience completing condition surveys of building services systems on commercial estates, a working knowledge of Building Regulations, and the ability to exercise professional judgement when evaluating building services systems.\n\n·Skills: You will be competent in the use of a variety of software systems and able to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders.\n\nAdditional Information:\nThe Garrisons are tobacco-free working environments.\n\nSecurity clearance is required prior to starting with us.\n\nWe are an equal opportunities employer and do not discriminate against protected characteristics.
