The AI Engineer will work with a small, focused team of other AI Engineers and a Data Architect supporting the development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools across ACC. These tools will enhance decision-making, optimize workflows, improve communication, and automate key project management functions.\nThe engineer will work on cross-functional collaboration efforts with data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and subject matter experts. Solutions will leverage AI technologies such as Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, and other enterprise AI platforms.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nWork in an AI/ML team supporting enterprise-wide automation, analytics, and insight initiatives\nCoordinate technical delivery of AI solutions aligned to mission-specific use cases\nDesign, develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for real-world application\nEvaluate model performance and implement improvements based on user and system feedback\nAnalyze and preprocess large datasets for use in AI/ML pipelines\nDeploy AI/ML models in secure, on-premises environments, ensuring performance and scalability\nCollaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and refine solutions for maximum impact\nUse platforms such as Palantir Foundry and Microsoft Copilot to create actionable insights and automation tools\nDraft documentation and provide guidance on AI usage to non-technical users\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum of 3 years of experience working in AI/ML.\nExperience with one or more:\nMicrosoft Office Suite\nAI/ML platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, or similar enterprise tools\nUsing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript\nPrompt engineering\nPreprocessing and analyzing large data sets\nStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and guide technical teams\nAbility to define and document AI/ML use cases in coordination with stakeholders\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience working in AI/ML initiatives within DoD or federal government environments\nFamiliarity with Agile development and MLOps practices\nExposure to Python-based ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch)\nExperience integrating AI models into enterprise software systems\n\nCLEARANCE LEVEL\nActive DoD Secret clearance preferred.
