This is a full-time on-site position at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City, OK. \nThe AG COMM program comprises the infrastructure, facilities, and protocols that allow air traffic controllers to communicate via voice and data with pilots in flight. \nCitizenship/Permanent Residency Requirement \nAll candidates must have the following to pass the Federal Background Investigation and obtain the FAA Public Trust security clearance.\nBe a US Citizen.\nHas resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years.\nRealID Driver’s License/ID or current US Passport. \nRelocation Requirement \nCandidate must reside or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City, OK. \nEducation & Experience Requirement \nAll non-US Degrees must have a US Equivalency Certificate provided by the candidate at the time of application.\nA Bachelors (ABET) degree in Engineering or related IT field, such as Physics, Aerospace, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Mathematics.\nExperience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment is highly desirable.\n3 - 6 years of related work experience. \nRequired Skills\nSolid foundation in circuit theory, power systems, grounding, and signal integrity.\nSkilled in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block diagrams.\nStructured troubleshooting methodology including root cause analysis and fault isolation. \nUnderstanding of system integration principles involving hardware, firmware, and software interaction.\nExperience with programming in Python.\nSupports field service calls and explains complex technical issues to non-technical personnel.\nAbility to:\nWork independently, as well as on a team, in an agile environment.\nResearch, troubleshoot and problem solve quickly.\nLearn on the job/willing to self-teach.\nCommunicate effectively through verbal and written communication with high organization.\nWrite clear, structured technical documentation. \nPreferred Skills \nFamiliarity with industry safety standards and electrical best practices.\nSupport for electrical engineering tasks in lab, field, and production environments.\nParticipation in after-hours or mission-critical support when required.\nWorking knowledge of Windows, UNIX, and UNIX-like operating systems (AIX, Linux).\nTroubleshooting and problem-solving experience.\nExperience with networking protocols and technologies including TCP, UDP, DHCP, SNMP, and VoIP.\nUnderstanding the importance of testing throughout all phases of engineering and programming.\nAbility to merge and apply technical skills across multiple environments and tasks. \nEssential Daily Job Duties \nEvaluate electrical systems, equipment, and applications.\nTake and support field service calls.\nProvide real-time troubleshooting support to field technicians.\nDocument incident findings and corrective actions.\nSupport remote and on-site system diagnostics.\nParticipate in after-hours or mission-critical support when required.\nContribute to system and hardware design, development, and testing.\nCreate and update documentation for systems and hardware. \nWork Environment \nStandard flexible work schedule.\nTravel is 10 -
