We are seeking highly motivated Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineers to support the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract’s (SWDC) Threat Products Services (TPS) / Threat Modeling Center (TMC) at Schriever Space Force Base, in Colorado Springs, CO.\n\nThis exciting career opportunity at the TMC is responsible for the development and delivery of high-fidelity threat modeling products in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and MDA’s Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The TMC Kinematic Systems Engineer is responsible for working with a group of engineers that generates the kinematic output data of simulated missile trajectories for the TMC.\n\nThis role requires employees to be onsite daily with no option for remote/hybrid work.\n\nBasic Qualifications: \nBachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline preferred with 2 years of relevant experience, or 0-2 years’ experience with a Masters’ Degree\nAbility and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs\nApplicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start\nExperience in modeling and simulation\nKnowledge of missiles and six degrees of freedom (6 DoF) trajectory representation\nFamiliarity with missile defense system components and their interoperability\nUnderstanding of Linux and Windows based platforms with their associated software\nAbility to work independently and in groups and must be a self-starter\nExcellent time management, schedule estimation\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\n\nPreferred Requirements:\nKnowledge of missile targeting and allocation and “Red Force” laydowns\nExperience with infrared and radar cross section (RCS) signatures\nExperience in systems engineering and/or software development and testing, especially with Agile methodology\nExperience working within the Missile Defense Agency, especially related to Ground Test exercises/events\nA current DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI
