Considering the state of the world today, military technical innovation is critical to defending our territories and those of our allies. The US Army is currently exploring advancements to equip ground combat forces with autonomous vehicle platforms. This effort presents a unique opportunity for civilians to participate in the research and development efforts that will shape future battlefield combat platforms. \nJob Responsibilities:\nLead mechanical integration activities for autonomous ground vehicle prototype programs and low-rate production efforts.\nManage the development, fabrication, assembly, and integration of vehicle structures, chassis systems, armor packages, suspension systems, mobility components, payload interfaces, and mission equipment.\nSupport and oversee prototype vehicle builds and mechanical subsystem integration activities.\nCoordinate efforts between engineering, production, quality, procurement, logistics, and program management teams to ensure successful project execution.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, labor forecasts, and resource allocation plans throughout all phases of the product lifecycle.\nConduct recurring program reviews and status meetings with customers, company leadership, and project stakeholders.\nOrganize, manage, maintain, distribute and archive technical data associated with ongoing projects.\nUtilize enterprise systems including SharePoint, Outlook, Windchill, ERP systems, and engineering databases to manage project documentation, engineering releases, technical data packages, bills of material, and configuration records.\nMonitor project performance against technical, schedule, and cost objectives and provide regular reporting to management and customers.\nSupport vehicle build planning, fabrication readiness reviews, integration events, testing activities, and production startup efforts.\nCoordinate the resolution of technical, manufacturing, and supply chain issues impacting program execution.\nEnsure compliance with customer requirements, military specifications, engineering standards, and quality management processes.\nRequired Qualifications\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.\nWillingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS, 25% annually.\nRequires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and eight years of related experience in a technical environment.\n ASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
