Your work will help ensure the successful deployment and operation of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications, custom-developed software, and satellite-specific data products supporting U.S. Space Force missions. Applications are hosted on Windows, Solaris, and Linux platforms.\n\nResponsibilities include:\nDevelop, prepare, and execute formal software acceptance tests\nValidate software maintenance releases and system enhancements\nCollaborate closely with software developers during unit, integration, and system testing activities\nAnalyze test results, identify defects, and support resolution efforts\nProvide daily status reporting during formal test events\nMaintain and execute regression test suites to ensure system stability\nSupport user acceptance testing and assist with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis\nVerify software performance across Windows, Linux, and Solaris environments\nApply software configuration management (CM) best practices to ensure consistency and integrity across multiple systems\n\nRequired Qualifications\n At a minimum, Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.\nMust be a US Citizen\nCurrent Security+ certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II), or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire\nBachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 2–4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience\nExperience supporting MILSATCOM operations, satellite command and control systems, or a related developmental/operational environment preferred\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineering teams and customers\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n4+ years of software or system testing experience\nExperience supporting MILSATCOM and/or satellite command and control systems\nFamiliarity with Agile software development methodologies\nExperience working in classified or mission-critical operational environments\nKnowledge of automated testing tools and test management processes\nAbility to articulate technical concepts orally and in written forms both internally to the team as well as externally to the customer\n\nWhy ASRC Federal?\nAt ASRC Federal, you'll work alongside talented professionals supporting some of the nation's most important space and defense missions.
