Working closely with the Finance Director, you will coordinate on financial controls, statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit management, risk oversight, and inventory reporting, while providing valuable commercial insight to support business performance and strategic decision-making. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering accurate and timely management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, providing valuable financial insight to support strategic decision-making. Operating within a fast-paced environment, you will partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT to drive continuous improvement, enhance reporting processes, support sustainable growth, and help the business achieve its financial and operational goals. You would also:\nLead financial governance, compliance, tax, audit, and risk management activities, ensuring strong financial controls across the business.\nProduce accurate management reporting, budgets, and forecasts, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making.\nManage inventory reporting and stock control evaluation, driving actions to improve performance and achieve stock reduction targets.\nPartner with key stakeholders across the business to improve data integrity, reporting accuracy, and support sales and EBIT growth.\nIdentify and implement process improvements that enhance financial reporting efficiency, compliance, and overall business performance. The skills and experience you need We are looking for someone who:\nMaintains the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.\nIs highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects from start to finish.\nHas strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and collaborate effectively with others.\nHas advanced analytical and financial expertise, including financial controls, current accounting standards, and turning data into actionable insights.\nIs commercially minded, proactive, and proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel), with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering results.
