This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production operations across our asset portfolio.\nThe role offers the opportunity to work closely with operations, subsurface, maintenance, drilling, and planning teams to maximise hydrocarbon production while maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and asset integrity.\nKey Responsibilities\nHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE)\nPromote and champion a strong HSE culture across all production operations.\nEnsure full compliance with the Permit to Work system, company policies, and HSE Management System requirements.\nSupport environmental performance objectives and ensure operations are conducted in accordance with regulatory and company standards.\nAct as Deputy On-Scene Commander during emergency response situations and participate in emergency drills and exercises.\nProduction Operations\nOptimise production performance, availability, and uptime across oil-producing wells, water and gas injection wells, and associated facilities.\nSafeguard the technical integrity and operational reliability of production assets and equipment.\nCoordinate and supervise routine field activities, including pigging, scraping, well testing, and basic wellhead maintenance.\nEnsure crude oil processing, treatment, storage, and export activities meet quality and operational specifications.\nImplement optimal well and facility operating parameters to maximise production whilst respecting environmental and flaring constraints.\nWork closely with Well Performance, Subsurface, and Asset Planning teams to deliver production targets and support forecasting activities.\nProduction Surveillance & Reporting\nEnsure accurate, reliable, and timely collection of production and operational data.\nCoordinate well testing, production surveillance, and data quality assurance activities.\nMaintain high-quality records within production databases and information systems.\nPrepare and contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to support operational decision-making.\nDrilling, Workovers & Maintenance Support\nSupport the planning and execution of drilling, completion, and workover activities, including well preparation and facility tie-ins.\nLiaise closely with maintenance teams to coordinate equipment servicing and minimise production downtime.\nAssist with the planning and execution of major shutdown and maintenance campaigns, \nTechnical Excellence & Continuous Improvement\nDevelop, review, and update operating procedures to ensure alignment with best practice and operational requirements.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to field operations teams.\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reliability, and operational performance.\nRequirements\nTo be successful in this role, you will bring a strong technical foundation, practical field experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from a recognised university.\nProven experience in production engineering and field production operations within the oil and gas industry.\nExperience in production planning, scheduling, surveillance, and optimisation activities.\nGood understanding of well performance, production systems, and subsurface interactions.\nExperience supporting drilling, workover, and facility operations is advantageous.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong proficiency in PI System (RTO), PI DataLink, and advanced Microsoft Excel.\nKnowledge of production optimisation tools and methodologies.\nExperience with Prosper or similar well modelling software is desirable.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making capabilities.\nPersonal Attributes\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work effectively within
