At the same time, our product landscape is evolving towards Linux-based and containerized applications using Docker.\nOne of your main responsibilities will be to transform existing installation and update procedures into standardized, reproducible and automated deployment workflows.\nWe currently use technologies such as PowerShell and Ansible for automation and GitHub Enterprise for source control. GitHub Actions will play an increasingly important role in our CI/CD and deployment workflows.\nYou will work closely with development, system engineering, support and product teams, review existing processes and drive automation projects from concept to productive use.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and automate installation and update processes for our ERP platform and related products\nBuild reliable deployment workflows across Windows Server and Linux environments\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD and deployment pipelines using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions\nExtend and improve our existing automation based on Ansible and PowerShell\nAutomate deployment and updates of Java and .NET/C# applications, IIS components and Microsoft SQL Server databases\nSupport Linux-based and Dockerized product deployments\nStandardize installation and configuration processes and make them reproducible and version-controlled\nImplement validation, logging, error handling and rollback concepts\nAnalyze existing manual processes and identify further automation potential\nDevelop reusable automation components and standards across multiple products\nYour profile\nStrong experience with automation and scripting, particularly PowerShell and/or Python\nGood knowledge of Windows Server environments\nSolid knowledge of Linux systems\nExperience with CI/CD systems and pipeline automation, preferably GitHub Actions or comparable platforms\nExperience with configuration and deployment automation such as Ansible\nGood understanding of Git and Git-based workflows\nExperience with Docker and containerized applications\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nAbility to independently drive technical projects and work across different teams\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills\nBachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience\nNice to have\nExperience with IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Java or .NET/C# application deployments\nInfrastructure as Code experience, e.g. Terraform\nExperience with Azure or other cloud platforms\nKnowledge of deployment, monitoring and security
