This is an early-stage team role offering significant autonomy and outsized impact. You'll play a crucial part in shaping how we position and sell Assembled, the platform that unifies workforce management with AI agents, helping support teams orchestrate human staff, BPOs, and AI across chat, email, and voice in one system.\nThe best sales engineers have a solution mindset. They figure out how to solve problems and debottleneck. Most SE roles end at the demo; ours doesn't. When you hit a product gap mid-deal, you're empowered to ship the feature the customer needs, working across product, engineering, and sales as a true cross-functional player.\nWe’re in-person 5 days a week from our bright, airy offices in the Mission in San Francisco and Chelsea Market in New York.\nWhat You'll Own:\nDrive opportunities from technical discovery through closure, partnering closely with AEs to translate complex requirements into clear, compelling solutions leveraging Assembled's platform.\n\nDesign and execute technical evaluations, proofs of concept (POCs), and custom demos that showcase how Assembled uniquely solves customer challenges.\n\nOwn responses to RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires, transforming these into strategic advantages that highlight our product strengths and readiness.\n\nBecome an expert in workforce management (WFM) and support operations, proactively anticipating customer needs and demonstrating thought leadership.\n\nBuild internal tools, scalable demos, and enablement resources that uplift the entire sales organization.\n\nConsistently achieve ambitious quarterly targets in a dynamic, high-growth environment.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect, ideally within SaaS.\n\nStrong technical background; comfort with APIs, cloud services (especially AWS), integrations, and web technologies.\n\nDemonstrated ability to thrive independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.\n\nProven track record of closing complex technical deals and consistently achieving sales targets.\n\nExceptional communication skills, able to simplify and effectively present complex concepts to both technical stakeholders and executive buyers.\n\nBonus Points For:\nDirect experience in workforce management, contact center operations, or customer support technologies.\n\nHands-on coding ability-we love scrappy problem-solvers who can prototype solutions quickly.\n\nStartup or high-growth company experience, comfortable wearing multiple hats and rapidly adapting to change.\n\nOur U.S. benefits\nGenerous medical, dental, and vision benefits\n\nPaid company holidays, sick time, and unlimited time off\n\nMonthly credits to spend on each: professional development, general wellness, Assembled customers, and commuting\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nCatered lunches every day (M-F) and fully stocked kitchen\n\n401(k) plan enrollment\n\nThis role comes with competitive compensation (base + commission), equity in a high-growth company, and the opportunity to significantly influence a rapidly expanding market.
