By combining a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market trends and sales performance, the Buyer will optimise product selection, maximise sales and margin, and ensure the right products are available across our retail network to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.\nThe Role\nThe Buyer is responsible for developing and delivering a product assortment that aligns with Assembly Label’s brand identity and commercial objectives. Combining a strong understanding of customer needs, market trends and product performance, the successful candidate will curate a considered assortment across our retail network, ensuring the right products are available to meet customer expectations, drive commercial success and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nResponsible for driving the product assortment in Assembly Label’s Retail to deliver Sales, Margin, and Stock Targets.\nResponsible for executing the buying strategy to achieve the Value Proposition objective.\nResponsible for delivering a product assortment that upholds the Assembly Label minimalist design standards. \nResponsible to ensure a thorough understanding of consumer behavioursand trends.\nResponsible for managing the departments OTB and option plan across vertical and branded opportunities.\nResponsible for the preparation of store grading plans across distribution channels based on display capacity, demographic and current sales trends\nResponsible to monitor in season trading performance, identify reorder opportunities and determine exit strategy to maximise sales, margin and closing stock. \nAccountable to collaborate with Merchandise to accurately forecast continuous products ensuring full stock availability. \nAccountable for managing seasonal stock flow, communicating to all stakeholders to support the brands merchandising strategy.\nAccountable for providing seasonally relevant feedback to Design (and Stakeholders), which drives trend analysis, exemplary price architecture and option plan strategy. \nAccountable to onboard the Sales and Marketing Channels for seasonal product assortments. \nAccountable for maintaining effective relationships with key suppliers and research new potential suppliers.\nResponsible for building a forum across the company for development and implementation of key buying initiatives. \nResponsible for self-development and career growth.\nAbout You\n5 years of experience in a buying role\nAttention to detail and accuracy. \nAbility to drive a trade culture and identify strategic growth opportunities. \nAbility to analyse and understand both commercial & creative metrics\nStrong ability to build rapport with stakeholders. \nTime management and ability to prioritise. \nFlexible and collaborative.\nOpen to regular feedback.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nEntrepreneurial\nHumble, Hungry and Smart\nApplying\nWe encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and underrepresented groups who reflect our wonderfully diverse community.
