This role is responsible for leading end-to-end NextGen Enterprise implementations for new clients, ensuring systems are configured, optimized, and fully operational to support revenue cycle performance. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with NextGen Enterprise and a strong understanding of physician practice workflows and RCM operations.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nImplementation & Onboarding\nLead full-cycle NextGen Enterprise implementations for new Physician RCM clients, from discovery through go-live and post-live stabilization.\nConduct workflow assessments and translate client-specific requirements into system configuration plans.\nCoordinate with internal teams, client stakeholders, and NextGen support resources to ensure implementation milestones are met on time.\nNextGen Enterprise PM System Administration\nPractice, enterprise and location configuration\nProvider, facility, payer and insurance setup\nUser/security/role administration\nWork queues and operational configuration\nClaim, charge, payment and adjustment workflows\nERA/835 and claim/837 processing\nStatement and patient-billing configuration\nRules, edits and claim-scrubbing configuration\nTest vs. Production environment management\nIdentify and resolve configuration gaps that may impact billing efficiency, coding accuracy, or collections performance.\nTraining & Client Support\nDevelop and deliver end-user training programs tailored to each client's staff and workflow.\nServe as a subject matter expert for NextGen-related questions during and after implementation.\nProvide Tier 2/3 application support for existing clients as needed, troubleshooting system issues and recommending solutions.\nProcess Improvement & Documentation\nMaintain detailed implementation documentation including configuration guides, data mapping specs, and go-live checklists.\nContribute to internal best practice standards for NextGen implementations across the Physician RCM division.\nCollaborate with RCM leadership to identify opportunities where system enhancements can improve revenue cycle outcomes.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired\n6+ years of hands-on experience with NextGen Enterprise, including implementation, configuration, and support.\nDeep expertise in NextGen modules: Practice Management, EHR, billing/claims, scheduling, and reporting.\nStrong working knowledge of physician RCM workflows including charge capture, claims submission, ERA/EOB processing, and denial management.\nExperience with data mapping, batch processing, EDI setup, and clearinghouse integrations within NextGen.\nProven ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously in a remote environment.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.\nThe Ideal Candidate Will Have Knowledge Of:\nProfessional claims lifecycle\n837/835 transactions\nEligibility 270/271\nClaim status 276/277\nDenials and rejection workflows\nPrimary/secondary/COB processing\nPayer configuration and routing\nMedicare/Medicaid/commercial payer concepts\nCPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, modifiers and POS familiarity\nERA/EOB/payment posting concepts\nWHAT WE OFFER\nCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience.\nComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).\n100% remote work environment with a collaborative, mission-driven team.\nExposure to diverse healthcare client environments and complex RCM challenges.\nOpportunity to shape implementation standards within a growing RCM organization.\nSalary Range\n$100,000—$130,000 USD\nCompensation for this role is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. The expected salary range for this position reflects these considerations and may vary accordingly.
