It's an opportunity to help define how security becomes an integral part of software engineering at Easee.\nRather than reviewing security after code has been written, you'll build the platform, automation, and guardrails that make secure development the natural way of working for every engineer.\nIf you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, automating security, and building developer platforms that enable teams to move both faster and safer, we'd love to hear from you.\nThe Opportunity\nYou'll join our Platform Infrastructure team and become the technical expert driving Security Platform Engineering across Easee.\nTogether with Platform Engineers, Software Developers, Product teams, Compliance, and external cyber security specialists, you'll design and evolve the security capabilities that underpin our entire engineering organisation.\nYou'll influence how security is implemented across more than one million connected devices while helping developers spend less time thinking about security-and more time building great products.\nThis is a new role with significant ownership, freedom, and opportunity to shape both technology and engineering practices from the ground up.\nWhat you will do\nAs our Security Platform Engineer, your mission is simple:\nBuild a developer platform where secure software becomes the easiest software to build.\nYou will:\nDesign and build security capabilities into our internal developer platform\n\nIntegrate security directly into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes\n\nAutomate security controls using Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code\n\nBuild reusable security guardrails that development teams can adopt by default\n\nImprove cloud security across AWS, networking, APIs, containers, serverless workloads, identity, and secrets management\n\nPerform threat modelling, penetration testing, and proactive security assessments\n\nBuild automated monitoring and threat detection using AWS Security Hub, Datadog Cloud SIEM, and related technologies\n\nTranslate regulatory requirements such as NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act into practical engineering solutions\n\nCollaborate closely with software teams to improve security without slowing development\n\nContinuously evolve Easee's cloud security architecture as our products and organisation scale\n\nWe think you'll thrive if you\nEnjoy building platforms rather than policing people.\n\nYou're someone who sees security as an engineering discipline-one that should be automated, scalable, and embedded into developer workflows instead of relying on manual processes.\n\nYou're equally comfortable discussing cloud architecture, security automation, and developer experience, and you enjoy working closely with engineers to solve problems together.\n\nYou are:\nSelf-driven and proactive\n\nCurious and constantly learning\n\nComfortable taking ownership without waiting for direction\n\nCollaborative and approachable\n\nAble to influence technical decisions through expertise rather than authority\n\nMotivated by building solutions that benefit an entire engineering organisation\n\nWhat you bring\nHands-on experience building and operationalising security standards in an internal developer platform or cloud environment\n\nExperience implementing real-time security analytics and monitoring for threat detection\n\nFamiliarity with AWS security tooling - Security Hub, Config, Secrets Manager - and policy-as-code tools like Open Policy Agent\n\nUnderstanding of network security, access management, secrets management, and container/serverless security\n\nExperience with incident response systems and processes\n\nStrong collaborator with excellent communication skills - able to influence and align across engineering, product, and legal without a mandate\n\nProactive and structured, always looking for better ways to do things\n\nBachelor's degree in a relevant IT field, or equivalent practical experience\n\nFluent in English.
