The Security Engineer will have the opportunity to work with various teams to help analyze technical requirements, define configuration specifications, and develop project plans. An ideal Security Engineer candidate is someone who has background knowledge in cybersecurity with a passion for problem-solving.\nWe can only consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to one of our following offices: Atlanta, GA, or Charlotte, NC.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist in designing, enhancing, testing, and implementing security technologies used throughout the organization.\nProvide technical support of information security technologies, providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner.\nInvestigate and quickly resolve security incidents and recommend corrective actions related to incidents.\nImplement, configure, and maintain IAM Infrastructure including Active Directory, EntraID and MFA.\nPerform scheduled and on demand vulnerability assessments and develop mitigation strategies.\nPerform threat modeling on key products and services by identifying threats and developing controls to prevent, detect, and respond.\nPartner with engineering teams to integrate and automate security at every level of the software development lifecycle.\nProvide security recommendations and solutions for infrastructure and applications in cloud environment.\nPerform special projects as assigned, while effectively managing time with competing priorities.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nWorking knowledge and technical understanding of cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)\nGeneral knowledge of networking, cybersecurity frameworks, constructs, and auditable standards.\nBasic knowledge and experience with scripting and programming (PowerShell, bash, python, IaC, etc.)\nHands-on experience working with SIEM, CSPM, and EDR tools.\nStrong communication and collaborative skills\nEducation & Experience:\n 3-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or information technology\nBS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent degree\nExperience working with JIRA Project Management\nExperience working with IAM solutions (Active Directory, EntraID, Okta, etc.)\nHands-on experience of CrowdStrike Falcon, Check Point Harmony, and Microsoft Defender\n Experience building and securing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\nCompensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $85,000-$100,000.\nThis information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
