decisions.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nBackend Development & Architecture:\n\n- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Django.\n\n- Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using Django REST Framework.\n\n- Design scalable and maintainable software architectures for enterprise and eCommerce applications.\n\n- Develop asynchronous and background processing solutions using Celery and Redis.\n\n- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve application scalability, reliability, and response time.\n\nAPI & Platform Integrations:\n\n- Develop and maintain integrations with Amazon SP-API, Shopify API, and other third-party/vendor APIs.\n\n- Build robust API integrations with appropriate authentication, error handling, logging, retries, and monitoring.\n\n- Work with internal teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.\n\nAutomation:\n\n- Design and develop automation solutions using Selenium.\n\n- Build reliable automation workflows for repetitive eCommerce and operational processes.\n\n- Monitor and troubleshoot automation jobs to ensure stability and performance.\n\nDatabase Management:\n\n- Design and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL and MySQL.\n\n- Write efficient SQL queries and perform database optimization.\n\n- Analyze query performance and implement appropriate indexing and optimization strategies.\n\n- Ensure data integrity, scalability, and reliability across backend systems.\n\nCloud & DevOps:\n\n- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.\n\n- Work with Docker-based application environments and containerized deployments.\n\n- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.\n\n- Collaborate on infrastructure automation and deployment processes using Terraform.\n\n- Work with Kubernetes-based environments where required.\n\n- Monitor production systems and proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and application issues.\n\nProduction Support & Engineering Excellence:\n\n- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.\n\n- Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.\n\n- Improve application reliability, security, scalability, and observability.\n\n- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.\n\n- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.\n\n- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall technical growth of the engineering team.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\n\n- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Business, and Operations teams.\n\n- Translate business and product requirements into effective technical solutions.\n\n- Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.\n\n- Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.\n\nRequired Skills & Expertise:\n\nBackend Technologies:\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Python\n\n- Expert-level experience with Django\n\n- Strong experience with Django REST Framework (DRF)\n\n- REST API development and third-party API integrations\n\n- Celery and Redis\n\n- Selenium\n\n- Strong understanding of backend architecture and design patterns\n\nCloud & DevOps:\n\n- Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.\n\n- Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git.\n\n- Kubernetes and Terraform preferred.\n\nDatabases:\n\n- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL\n\n- Database design, schema optimization, SQL query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.\n\nLinux & Server Administration:\n\n- Ubuntu/Linux, Shell scripting, Nginx, Gunicorn, Cron jobs, and basic server troubleshooting.\n\nAPI Integrations:\n\n- Amazon SP-API, Shopify API, third-party REST APIs, vendor and marketplace integrations.\n\nQualifications:\n\n- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.\n\n- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python backend development.\n\n- Proven experience building scalable SaaS, enterprise, eCommerce, or marketplace applications.\n\n- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and
