As they continue to grow, they're looking for a\ndetail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the team.\nThis position will begin with responsibility for one or two client accounts, requiring approximately\n10 hours per month, gradually taking ownership of additional accounts, with the opportunity to\nmanage around 10 client accounts and transition into a full-time position.\nWe're looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and committed to producing\nhigh-quality, audit-ready financial records every month.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate bookkeeping records for assigned client accounts.\nRecord and reconcile financial transactions using QuickBooks.\nPerform month-end close procedures.\nPrepare and maintain audit-ready financial files and supporting documentation each month.\nEnsure financial records comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).\nManage accrual-based accounting and journal entries.\nReconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.\nIdentify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.\nWork closely with the Business CFO for Hire team to ensure deadlines are consistently met.\nProvide clear and professional communication with internal teams and clients when required.\nRequirements\nMinimum 5 years accounting/ bookkeeping experience.\nStrong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).\nProven experience with QuickBooks Online.\nSolid understanding and practical experience with accrual accounting.\nPrevious bookkeeping experience for multiple businesses or clients.\nExcellent written and spoken English.\nAbility to work during Eastern Standard/Eastern Time (EST/ET) business hours.\nExceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.\nAbility to
