Associated Bank conducts a thorough background check on all new hires.\nRole SummaryAs a Field Services Engineer, you will provide onsite installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for technology hardware across branch locations and offices. This role partners closely with colleagues and IT teams to resolve hardware issues, support technology projects, and ensure equipment remains operational and reliable. You'll have the opportunity to work independently in the field while contributing to a collaborative team environment.\nKey Accountabilities\nRespond to onsite service requests by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware, printers, multifunction devices, and other technology equipment.\nConfigure, deploy, troubleshoot, and support laptops and related hardware for colleagues across the organization.\nResolve computer and IP telephone connectivity issues, partnering with other IT support teams as needed to ensure timely issue resolution.\nLead or support hardware installations, relocations, upgrades, and technology deployment projects, including branch opening and closing activities.\nComplete preventive maintenance activities, inventory audits, and asset management tasks to ensure equipment accuracy and reliability.\nReview hardware performance and service history, recommending equipment replacements or improvements when appropriate.\nProvide audio/visual and technical support for presentations, meetings, and business events.\nAssist with the development and maintenance of hardware procedures, documentation, and best practices while supporting the evaluation of new technology solutions.\nEducation & Experience\nRequired\nAssociate’s degree in Computer Servicing, Network Servicing, Electromechanical Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n2-4 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing PCs, laptops, servers, printers, and multifunction devices.\nExperience with IP telephone installation and support.\nExperience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.\nKnowledge of network infrastructure cabling, including Cat 5e and Cat 6.\nStrong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.\nReliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive as required.\nAbility to obtain HP, Data Card, and Lexmark service certifications within one year of hire.\nPreferred\nAssociate’s degree or coursework in Technical Writing.\n4-7 years of experience supporting PCs, laptops, servers, printers, and multifunction devices.\nExperience troubleshooting Cisco network hardware and communications systems.\nKnowledge of Apple hardware.\nExperience creating technical procedures and documentation.\nCompTIA A+ certification.\nHP certification.\nStrong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively in changing or high-priority situations.\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nJoin a team that offers a broad range of hands-on technology experiences across hardware support, projects, and field services.
