Associated Bank conducts a thorough background check on all new hires.\nRole Summary\nHelp clients and prospects identify financial goals and needs through a holistic financial planning approach, providing investment, insurance, brokerage, advisory, and related wealth solutions. This role partners closely with branch teams and Wealth Management colleagues to deepen existing relationships, build new client relationships, and grow an established Minnesota territory. The position offers an existing book of business, branch referral support, and access to a full suite of financial planning, investment, and insurance solutions.\nKey Accountabilities\nAdvise clients and prospects by analyzing financial needs and objectives and recommending appropriate investment, insurance, advisory, and financial planning solutions.\n\nUse financial planning principles and tools, including MoneyGuide Pro, as the foundation for client profiling and planning conversations.\n\nGrow an existing book of business by developing new relationships through bank referrals, non-bank resources, proactive business development, and networking.\n\nPartner with branch teams, Private Banking, Personal Trust, and other Wealth Management colleagues to deliver coordinated solutions for clients.\n\nMaintain strong knowledge of investment products, insurance strategies, economic trends, capital markets, and the financial needs of the client segment served.\n\nOperate in full compliance with internal policies, procedures, applicable regulations, and laws.\n\nAchieve business objectives related to advisory business, financial planning, insurance, production, revenue growth, and other key performance metrics.\n\nComplete transaction documentation accurately and timely, while helping resolve trade processing or service-related issues.\n\nEducation & Experience\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Business or Finance.\n\n3+ years of investment and insurance sales experience.\n\nTrailing production of $250,000-$400,000 from an existing, significant book of business.\n\nDemonstrated advisory or fee-based business development experience.\n\nLife, Health, and Variable Insurance License.\n\nSeries 7 license.\n\nSeries 63, Series 66, or Series 65 license.\n\nMust have access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive self, if applicable.\n\nPreferred\n5+ years of investment and insurance sales experience.\n\nTrailing production of $400,000 from an existing, significant book of business.\n\nDemonstrated financial planning skill set and advisory business development experience.\n\nExisting securities licenses, including Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, or Series 66.\n\nBank financial advisor experience.\n\nWealth management background and industry connections.\n\nCertified Financial Planner designation.\n\nChartered Financial Analyst designation.\n\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nJoin a collaborative Wealth Management team with branch referral support, an established bank territory, and an existing book of business to help accelerate client relationship growth.
